Eid - Ul - Fitr Holidays

Dear Parents
Greetings from GD Goenka, Srinagar

This is to inform that the school shall remain closed from Friday, April 21, 2023, till Sunday, April 23, 2023, on account of the Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays. The school shall reopen for all grades from Monday, April 24, 2023, with regular school timings. Eid Milan programme and a number of events will take place on Monday, hence it will be a non-instructional day. Students are welcome to attend school in their Eid attire and carry their preferred food. The regular class schedule will be followed from Tuesday, April 25,2023

On behalf of the Management, Principal, and School Faculty, we would like to extend our warmest wishes to all students and parents for a blessed Eid-ul-Fitr filled with joy, happiness, and prosperity.

Notice - Revised School Timing

The revised school timing in the light of the Govt. order will be:

08.50 am Reporting and 2.00 pm school dispersal w.e.f 01 March 2023.

School Re-opening – March – 2023

Dear Parents and Students
Greetings from GD Goenka, Srinagar!
The school reopening dates are as follows:

MARCH 1st – Grade 5 to Grade 11.

MARCH 3rd- KG to Grade 4.

Kindergarten (NUR /LKG) classes will commence on MARCH 6th.

The reporting hours are from 9.45 am to 3:00 pm. School buses will be available as per the previous schedule. The dismissal time for non-bus students will be at 3:00 pm after buses leave the campus. Bus timing will be communicated by the transport department.
Kindergarten Classes will have late reporting and early dismissal time. Nursery and LKG children can be brought to school by parents on their own and taken back at the end of the school hours for the first week.
We are looking forward to a successful academic year ahead.

Winter Vacation

Dear parents,
Greetings from GD Goenka, Srinagar.
The winter vacation for classes Nur to Gr 5 will commence from 1st Dec. 2022. In this context the Unit examinations for Grades 4th and 5th stand cancelled.
The evaluation scheduled for 03 Dec 2022 for Nursery to Gr.3 will be conducted only after the winter break. The dates for the annual examinations will be communicated in due course.
