It is with profound sorrow that we convey the sad demise of Mr. Rouf Ahmed Kawoosa, the beloved elder brother of our respected School Chairman.
On behalf of the entire GD Goenka Public School , Srinagar family, we extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family. May Allah (SWT) grant the departed soul Maghfirah , elevate his status in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and bless the family with Sabr-e-Jameel and strength to bear this irreparable loss.
As a mark of respect and in solidarity with the bereaved family, the school shall remain closed tomorrow, 17th September 2026, for all students and staff .
We request everyone to remember the departed soul and the bereaved family in their prayers.
