Registration – Summer Camp – Grade –5th to 8th

Dear Parents, 

We are thrilled to open registrations for this year’s Summer Camp for students of Grades 5 to 8 in the serene meadows of Gulmarg.This voluntary camp is a wonderful opportunity for your child to step out of the classroom and into nature. From building self-dependence and learning to navigate the challenges of outdoor life to enjoying fun team activities, it promises to be an enriching experience in community living. You are free to grab this opportunity for your ward and it is a voluntary and paid program. Those who are interested in this program will have to fill in the Google form and make an online payment of f Rs .4800/- by  25/06/26 before noon. The camp dates for each grade are mentioned below , however, the dates are flexible between  28th June to 20th July. The detailed class-wise schedule is provided below.

Students availing school bus can come by school bus itself on a regular school day and can reach home by school bus on return.. However, if camp dates fall during the holidays, the parents will have to arrange pick and drop of their wards to the school. Parents need not to accompany to school. Between school and camp site the pick and drop will be provided by the school.                                                                                                                                                                               

Personal equipment to be brought:

1. Hunter shoes/ climbing shoes having good grip of rubber and not hard PVC, Rain coat (light) with cap, sweater or jacket , trekking Rod.

2. Sleeping bag / warm pullover /light blanket/ slipers .

3. Toilet gear (soap, toothpaste, brush, comb, towel)

4. Only house uniform and one pair of jeans for emergency change.

5. Notebook, pen and colours, water bottle, torch , night clothing , two pairs of cotton socks.

6. Shorts for playing games (boys).

IMPORTANT: Separate accommodation will be provided to girls with female teachers.

Mobiles or electronic gadgets are strictly not allowed. Defaulters will be barred from the camp. The above mentioned camp dates are tentative and can be flexible for different grades between 28th  June and 20th July. Same will be communicated beforehand.

NOTE:

  1. Students should not bring valuable items with them.School will not take responsibility for theft or loss of such items.
  2. Any item which can cause potential injury or harm to self and others should not be brought.
  3. Participants are supposed to label their names on all belongings and the school will not be responsible for any damage or loss.
  4. Group in-charge will maintain records of discipline in events which will be handed over to the camp in-charge, who will present the same to the principal.
  5. It is essential that students carry water bottles and drink only treated water which shall be available at the camp site.
  6. Camp charges are to be  deposited before 25/06/2026 . Online payment can be made using the link shared in the google form.

ENROLLMENT: FIRST COME FIRST ENROLLED BASIS; NO LAST MINUTE ENTRIES WOULD BE ENTERTAINED beyond -25/06/2026

    *No refund for what soever reasons.

     *Parents or relatives are strictly not allowed to visit the camp  site or follow students where their activities are taking place.
