Storytelling is the art of using language, vocalization, and/or physical movement and gesture to reveal the elements and images of a story to a specific, live audience.
We are all storytellers. We all live in a network of stories. There isn’t a stronger connection between people than storytelling.
Grade 3 is organizing a storytelling competition “Story diaries” on August 27, 2021, from 12 PM to 1:30 PM virtually on zoom detailing different stories, wherein students will narrate stories based on the titles assigned to them.
At the heart of storytelling are the values we live and share. F
The aims and objectives of this competition are to:
•enhance student’s confidence in using English.
•give students the opportunity to use English in an interesting, authentic, and creative manner.
•enhance and improve listening and speaking skills.
•instill student’s interest in reading and writing in English.
Competitions encourage students to adopt innovative techniques and develop their ideas and skills.
Our students will be judged based on the following criteria:
•Clarity
•Expression
•Creativity
•Content
•Voice modulation
•Props
There will be three winners from every section and prizes will be distributed according to the above criteria.
1) Best storyteller
2) 1st runner-up
3) 2nd runner-up
